Hello - I'm Lucy

I remember my own experience as a young mum aged 23, excited and confused in equal measure!

Since then (and with one 'baby' having just graduated from University, and my second baby has just started Secondary school!) I've been growing and learning, training and teaching. It's my life's work, and supporting women through their own unique journey is a source of endless joy and wonder. 

I am a fully accredited Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. I originally trained to teach yoga with The Life Centre in 2004  and completed my second Teacher Training Diploma under the tutelage of the wonderful Katy Appleton from Appleyoga in 2015.


I have over 12 years of teaching experience with a specialism in Women’s Health: 

  • I run Pregnancy and Post Natal Yoga Classes

  • I teach Hypnobirthing in private and group sessions

  • I am a Birth and Postnatal Doula

  • I host monthly Restorative Yoga Workshops for Women

  • I am a Reiki Master and am currently studying for my BSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture

  • Janet Balaskas and Alice Charlwood from the Active Birth Centre.

  • Uma Dinsmore Tuli to teach Pregnancy & Birth yoga and Well Women Yoga Therapy.

  • Ingrid Lewis and Francious Freedman from Birthlight to teach Birth Preparation & Postnatal Yoga

  • Katherine Graves to teach Hypnobirthing (a training course that is accredited by the The Royal College of Midwives). 

  • Birthlight, Nadia Narain & Katy Appleton to teach Postnatal Yoga

As a constant student on this path, I love furthering my knowledge with some of the world's leading practitioners in yoga, philosophy, meditation and energy work, teachers including: Bo Forbes, Judith Lasater, Donna Farhi and Tias Little. I take great pleasure in sharing the wisdom and passing on what I have learned along the way.

Becoming a Mother?

Pregnancy is an amazing and empowering time in a woman’s life. The journey leading up to birth is a perfect time to develop your strength physically and mentally, a time to nurture yourself and connect with your baby. I offer balanced and holistic classes that build your inner strength, physically and emotionally. You will strengthen, relax, and learn how  to believe in your bodies and instincts so you can approach this natural process with courage, clear seeing and joy.

If you want some one-to-one support, I work privately with a limited number of clients at a time. This can include your partner and  can be held at my studio in Twickenham, or at your home. 

Are you a new (or not so new) mother? 

When a child is born, so is a Mother.  The postnatal period is one of adjustment and great change and my postnatal classes, workshops and services offer you the space to create greater happiness, insight and fulfilment through the ups and downs of being a mother - supporting you as you consciously grown into mothering life.
